ACLC BC Branch Medal of Merit
President Award 2025-2026
On behalf of the Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC), British Columbia(BC) Branch, it is an honour to announce that nominations for the Army Cadet Medal of Merit President award for the Outstanding Army Cadet in BC are now open.
As part of the ACLC Medal of Merit awards, which began this past year, please review the award policy closely, as there are changes to eligibility, criteria, and the nomination process.
Eligibility and Criteria:
- Any Army Cadet who is enrolled in Advanced Training in the nominating training year, who can remain in a position to be an Army Cadet up until 1 May 2027
- Achieved the minimum rank of Master Warrant Officer
- Be nominated by the Corps Support Committee Chairperson and the Corps Commanding Officer
Nomination Process:
The following nomination package will be submitted via the online form NLT April 30, 2026:
- Cadet Training Record: The Cadet information card with redacted personal information if required
- A Letter of nomination by the Support Committee Chairperson stating that the nominee fulfills all criteria;
- A Letter of nomination by the Support Committee Commanding Officer stating that the nominee fulfills all criteria;
- A letter of recommendation from an independent organization, such as a school official or municipal leader, who can speak on the nominee’s performance outside the cadet program.
